Looking Back on 2025
Hello, my name is Chino Yoshio. I am a composer based in Kyotanabe, Kyoto. In this post, I would like to record a brief reflection on the year 2025.

Restarting note

In April of this year, I resumed writing on note. As I continued to document my thoughts and ideas there, generative AI began to reference those records and effectively speak on my behalf. As a result, responding to inquiries has become much easier compared to the past.

Selling vinyl records Using ElasticStage’s service,

I started offering vinyl editions of “193193” and “My Past Piano Songs, Pt.2” on a made-to-order basis. This was an experimental step, but it felt like a meaningful way to preserve my work in physical form.

Restarting Shopify

I also restarted my Shopify store. At the moment, it is mainly used for selling PDF sheet music and for indicating upcoming vinyl releases as “in preparation.”

Encounter with BIM While reconsidering how to balance my music activities with my past work experience,

I began asking myself what kind of work might suit me best. Through conversations with generative AI, I encountered the field of BIM (Building Information Modeling / Management), which I have since started to study.

Bullet-point summary

- In 2025, the author resumed writing on note, which helped clarify personal ideas and policies and reduced the burden of handling inquiries through the use of generative AI.

- He began selling analog vinyl records of selected works through a print-on-demand service, exploring new ways to preserve and present his music.

- Shopify was relaunched mainly as a platform for selling PDF scores and announcing upcoming releases still in preparation.

- Through reflection and dialogue with generative AI, he reassessed his career direction and began studying BIM (Building Information Modeling / Management) as a field compatible with his background and music activities.

Shopify

その過程で、BIM(Building Information Modeling / Management)という分野に出会い、現在は学習を進めています。
