Generative AI and Unemployment — A Story That Requires Verification
A newspaper recently featured examples of an illustrator and a composer whose work reportedly decreased due to the spread of generative AI.

In recent years, generative AI has often been discussed alongside themes such as romance or even suicide.
Similarly, “generative AI” and “unemployment” are frequently framed within the same narrative category.

Certainly, technological advancement can influence the way people work.
However, it remains important to examine how far individual cases can be generalized,
and how much of the situation is attributable to broader structural factors rather than to AI alone.

Rather than consuming these stories as emotionally compelling narratives,
I hope that careful and evidence-based discussions will continue to develop.
