Going to Sara Wakui’s “Nothing But Living” Osaka Show

Hello, I’m Chino Yoshio, a composer based in Kyotanabe, Kyoto, Japan.

This time, I wanted to make a short note about buying a ticket for Sara Wakui’s Osaka show for her album Nothing But Living.

I Found Out About the Show on X

I happened to be browsing X (formerly Twitter) when I came across a post announcing the show.

Since the Osaka performance is being held on a holiday, I thought it was the perfect opportunity and decided to buy a ticket.

I work as a CAD operator on weekdays, so it can be difficult for me to attend concerts held during the week. That made the timing of this show especially convenient.

Apple Music Discovery Station

I first discovered Sara Wakui’s music last year through Apple Music’s Discovery Station, when her track “Calming Influence” came up.

When I first heard it, it reminded me of the Acid Jazz music I was really into during my university days, but reconstructed through a fresh and contemporary interpretation.

There was something nostalgic about it for me, while at the same time it sounded fresh and modern.

Nothing But Living

I also really enjoy the album Nothing But Living.

I’m looking forward to hearing how the music will sound when performed live.

今回は、和久井沙良さん（Sara Wakui）の「Nothing But Living」大阪公演のチケットを購入したことを記録しておきます。

きっかけはX（旧Twitter）の投稿

何気なくXを見ていたところ、今回の公演の告知を見つけました。

大阪公演は休日の開催だったので、「これはいいタイミングだ」と思い、チケットを購入しました。

平日はCADオペレーターとして仕事をしているため、平日に開催されるライブにはなかなか足を運べないことも多く、今回はちょうど良い機会でした。

Apple Musicのディスカバリーステーション

和久井沙良さんの音楽を知ったきっかけは、昨年Apple Musicのディスカバリーステーションで「Calming Influence」が流れてきたことでした。

初めて聴いたとき、私が大学生の頃に夢中になって聴いていたAcid Jazzを、新しい解釈で再構築したような音楽に感じました。

どこか懐かしさを感じながらも、今の時代の音楽として新鮮に聴こえたことを覚えています。

Nothing But Living

今回のアルバム「Nothing But Living」もお気に入りです。

実際のライブではどのように演奏されるのか、今から楽しみにしています。
