Experiencing Ryuichi Sakamoto’s KAGAMI+ with a BLUE TICKET

A bilingual note on my KAGAMI+ experience with a BLUE TICKET, including prescription goggles and the sound of the piano.

Experiencing Ryuichi Sakamoto’s KAGAMI+ with a BLUE TICKET

KAGAMI+ — BLUE TICKET
I went to see Ryuichi Sakamoto’s “KAGAMI+” with a BLUE TICKET. This note is specifically about the BLUE TICKET experience, as the RED TICKET offers different content.

I normally wear glasses and do not have contact lenses, so I was a little worried because contact lenses were recommended for the experience. At the venue, however, the staff checked the prescription of my glasses and provided me with prescription goggles.

Once I took off my glasses, the space was so dark that I could hardly see anything around me. With the goggles on, it was also difficult to see other people, so I carefully made my way toward the piano and watched from a little distance.

Perhaps partly because of my nearsightedness, I did not quite experience the feeling that Ryuichi Sakamoto was actually there performing in front of me.

Still, the sound of the piano was excellent, and the immersive audio experience was especially memorable.
