About the Album

Relax, Pt. 4 revisits a selection of Chino Yoshio’s most popular relaxing piano pieces, presenting each track in three distinct variations: Vintage Piano Version, Pure Soft Version, and Sine Version.

The Pure Soft Versions were created as an experiment using Native Instruments’ PIANO COLORS, blending two different piano sounds to create a softer, more delicate texture. The album also includes a Pure Soft Version of “193193 Sleep,” one of Chino Yoshio’s most popular sleep-focused pieces.

While the Vintage Piano Versions bring a warm and familiar character, the Sine Versions reduce the music to a more minimal and pure tonal form. Together, the three interpretations explore how the same compositions can take on different atmospheres through subtle changes in sound and texture.
